AUGUST 2007, PART THREE
08/31/2007 ARTICLE 6: MEMORY GARDEN
Most of you know me from my involvement as Mr. Pride of West Virginia 2006-2007. During my time as Mr. Pride, community involvement was a propriety to me. One of my most passionate involvements was with the Living AIDS Memorial Garden and serving as a Board of Director for this organization.
I’d like to encourage all of you to visit our Garden located at the corner of Washington Street East and Sidney Avenue in the East End of Charleston, West Virginia. After visiting our peaceful and serene location, I’m confident that each of you will want to contribute a "Memory Brick" in honor of your loved one or even on behalf of yourself as a "Garden Friend". The goal of our Garden is to serve West Virginia and the surrounding states. Our mission is to establish and maintain a Garden in memory of those who have died of AIDS, provide a place of reflection for those who are living with AIDS, and for those who are survivors.
