Kink all depends on who is involved. Some kink might involve just one or two specialties whereas others might may be much more extensive. Nobody should ever be embarrassed for lack of experience or unfamiliarity in the kink scene. The Golden Rule is to always have fun and to be safe, sane, and consensual.
Article 5 focused around "What are YOU into" and explored the many kinks and fetishes that are represented within hanky codes. Due to the fact that many kink specialties are out there and not all of them involve activities within the same scene, let’s take a moment and explore some of these kink specialties this week. There are many and these are just a few:

Animal transformations involve the expression of the animal side of your personality, whether it be dog, wolf, horse, pig, bear, etc.§
Bondage and Discipline can go from light restraint to full mummification, suspension, sensory deprivation, breath control, confinement scenes, and many other forms.§
Breath Control involves gas-mask play, jock-strap smothering, controlled strangulation, the hangman’s rope, etc.§
Butt play can be in a sling or with a full range of toys for a bottom’s pleasure; whether it’s a finger or fist, a toy or a plug.§
Dog obedience training is the canine class for the leather pup. Woof! A lucky dog may even get to go for a walk on his Master’s leash.§
Enemas involve the warm water flow in until you think you’re going to explode.§
Extended and/or overnight scenarios are for those who like to immerse themselves in long, mind-expanding sessions.§
Feminization sessions can be full or partial in a dressing room specially equipped for a man to explore his feminine side.§
Fetishes can be with feet, boots, leather, cigars, jock straps, chest, and many other options.§
Headspace takes long, sensual sessions usually where you take your time. Clock watching is not allowed. This type of scene involves relaxation and allowing oneself to escape beyond that normal daily scope into the realms of "head space" where KINK becomes reality and, at that point, the nasty animal within can be released.§
Interrogation scenes usually involve prisoner, military players, etc.§
Leather play usually is in a fully equipped playroom, or in a dungeon space.§
Medical scenes or clinical fantasies involve catheters and sounds, physical exams, probing, etc. Doctor knows best!§
Public outings can be in leather bars, sex clubs, and gay district exhibitionist and voyeur and well as kink adventure.§
Raunch can go from toilet training, scant, rim-seat adventures, etc.§
Role-play scenes can be Sir/boy, Master/slave, Daddy/cub, Baby/sissy fun, and others.§
Shaving involves hair razors; buzz cuts, or crotch clips. A straight razor can give a might close shave, and in all the right places. Whether it’s with a straight, safety, or electric razor, the act of shaving or being shaved has distinctly erotic overtones.§
Slut training is for bottom boys or she-boys§
S/M (ecstatic sensory stimulation) can be for beginners as well as experienced players and go from light heavy including whipping, carotid breath play, tit torture, electro play, spanking, paddles, belts, hairbrush, canning, play piercing, or tickle anguish.§
VA is verbal aggressing involving degradation from the mildly nasty to the truly humiliating.Kink can come in many forms and really just depends on the likes and/or dislikes of who is involved. As mentioned at the beginning of the article, nobody should ever be embarrassed for lack of experience or unfamiliarity in the kink scene. The Golden Rule is to just always have fun and to be safe, sane, and consensual.

is the act of whipping (Latin flagellum, "whip") the human body. Specialized implements for it include rods, switches and the cat-o-nine-tails. Typically, whipping is performed on unwilling subjects as a punishment; however, flagellation can also be submitted to willingly, or performed on oneself, in religious or sadomasochistic contexts. Flogging is an approximate synonym that was probably derived from flagellum in the British navy, where flogging was a common disciplinary measure that became associated with a seaman's manly disregard for pain. Aboard ships, knittles or the cat o' nine tails was used for severe punishment, while a rope's end or starter was used to administer the lightest discipline to sailors. Flagellation probably originated in the Near East but quickly spread throughout the ancient world. In Sparta, young men were flogged as a test of their masculinity. The Jews limited flagellation to forty strokes, and in practice delivered forty strokes minus one, so as to aviod any possiblity of breaking this law due to a miscount. Additionally they would have a doctor monitor the punishment, who would stop it if it became too much for the person to safely bear.
In the Roman Empire, flagellation was often used as a prelude to crucifixion, and in this context is sometimes referred to as scourging, Whipes with small pieces of metal or bone at the tips were commonly used, Such a device could easily cause disfigurement and serious trauma, such as ripping pieces of flesh from the body or loss of an eye. In addition to causing serious pain, the victim would be made to approach a state of hypovolemic shock due to loss of blood. The Romans reserved this torture for non-citizens, as stated in the lex Porcia and lex Sempronia, dating from 195 and 123 BC. The poet Horace refers to the horrible flagellum (horrible whip) in his Satires, calling for the end of its use. Typically, the one to be punished was stripped naked and bound to an upright pillar as to be stretched out. lictors (some reports indicate scourging's with four or six lictors) alternated blows from the bare shoulders down the body to the soles of the feet. There was no limit to the number of blows inflicted - this was left to the lictors to decide, though they were normally not supposed to kill the victim.
Nonetheless, Livy, Suetonius and Josephus report cases of flagellation where victims died while still bound to the post. Flagellation was referred to as "half death" by some authors and apparently, many died shortly thereafter. Cicero reports in Verrem, "pro mortuo sublatus brevi postea mortuus" ("taken away for a dead man, shortly thereafter he was dead"). Often the victim was turned over to allow flagellation on the chest, though this proceeded with more caution, as the possibility of inflicting a fatal blow was much greater.
While flagellation and other forms of corporal punishment are now forbidden in most Western countries, flagellation is still a common form of punishment in Islamic countries. Medically supervised caning is also still used as punishment for some categories of crime in Singapore and Malaysia.

In today’s world, everything seems to constantly be changing. Old rules that were established for consistency and standardization seem to be evolving into new rules yet protocols are critical to growth and success.
Referencing back to articles 2 and 3 in LEATHERBEAR ARCHIVES, our WVQN Reader’s were asked what does leather, bear, and pride mean to them. A wide diverse selection of answers was provided.
This week, I’d like to focus on my passion for leather.
